I seriously can't believe they mentioned naruto, and even the whole tired boy thing, and didn't give kakashi one single nod. I _know_ I am not the only one who thought he was cute, come on. granted, gai is basically his life partner, and those two are adorable, but I have that problem with every fictional character I've ever liked... I want them to be happy and end up hoping for them to be in a relationship with another character in their series that they have good chemistry with. also, I think I understand what Erold's tastes are about. cuz like... women who are older sisters (at least the way they're often fictionalized) are portrayed as like, strong and caring people... the kind of person who would be strong or stoic, but also really caring and understanding. like, things that Riza Hawkeye does that make me think she's hot: protecting Roy, being a hyper competent badass, the fucking military uniform pants but with just a black tshirt holy fucking shit, she has broad shoulders and toned arms and she's just ajdf;dfldfs;jfsdj;fdslf but also, things that Riza Hawkeye does that make my heart full of love: the way she talks to Ed and Al... like, she understands that they're kids, but also respects how capable they are and how strong they've been, and she's really patient with them... she has a puppy named Black Hayate... Riza Hawkeye is incredible, Erold, I get you man. I get you. and I also see why sometimes a character that is billed as a Sexy Woman™ isn't super appealing... like, Lust? has a really unapproachable affectation. she doesn't seem like the type where you could ever relax around her, and that's not even taking her villainous, murderous, shapeshifting homunculus qualities into account. or like, Jessica Rabbit? I actually have a hard time buying into the realism of her proportions, to the point where she looks kind of like an alien to me. apply all the aesthetic elements of her design to an actual woman, and she'd be hot as hell... I actually have that problem with the women in code geass as well... like, their torsos are sooooooo long... that's not how that works. they'll pose Kalen or someone up all sexy and I'm just like "is your back okay?" because no it isn't.
